Stirling Engines

A Stirling Engine is an engine that transfers the expansion and contraction of air into mechanical motion. Many years ago I saw an episode of Modern Marvels that mentioned the Stirling Engine. I believe it aired in 2002. Given my mechanical background, it is no wonder that the episode peaked my interest. Shortly after, I began researching Stirling Engines. This album shows a few of my attempts at building Stirling Engine models.
